Dwarikesh plans to expand cogeneration capacity to 50 MWMumbai: Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Limited has informed Bombay Stock Exchange that it is intending to expand its cogeneration capacity from 26 MW to 50 MW by setting up additional cogeneration capacity of 24 MW at its Dwarikesh Puram unit. The power from additional cogeneration would be supplied to state grid and would cost around Rs 85 crores and will be funded through a mix of internal accruals, Sugar Development Fund, loan from Banks or Financial institutions or other lenders. The additional cogeneration capacity would be operational by sugar season 2007-08.
