Sugar Industries Limited is an integrated conglomerate,
primarily engaged in manufacture of sugar and allied
products. From a humble beginning in 1993, Dwarikesh
today is a multi-faceted, fast growing industrial group

presence in diversified fields such as sugar
manufacturing, power and ethanol / industrial alcohol
production. Two of our plants are in Bijnor district and
one in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh- an area with
focused concentration of cane production on highly

Renewable Energy Certificate – NLDC accreditation to all
three captive power
generation enabled units
All three Dwarikesh plants now registered with NLDC All three plants of
DSIL with captive power generation capacity of 30
megawatts are now registered with National Load Dispatch
Centre (NLDC) for generation of Renewable Energy
Certificates (REC).

DSIL has swung to profit for
the quarter ended March 2011. It reported profit of Rs 175.36 million compared
with a loss of Rs 230.81 million in the same quarter
last year.

Economic Times (Hindi) has published an analysis about
Dwarikesh Sugar Industries in its 'Corporate Roundup'
section wherein the paper terms the company's yearly
results as 'very impressive.' It talks about a bright
outlook for DSIL and says that it has benefitted not
only by the market situation but also by good recovery
at two of its plants.
